Registration Information

All teams and individuals are welcome to compete.   All events are open. FireFit Teams and individuals eligible to compete for the bye in this region are those East of Toronto and North of the 401.

The top Canadian FireFit Team will qualify for a bye into the Canadian Nationals. FireFit Team times of 9 minutes or less qualify for Wild Card day at the Canadian Nationals in September.

The top Tag FireFit Team FireFit Relay FireFit Team will qualify for the bye into Canadian Nationals.

U.S. FireFit Teams are welcome to compete.

Hot Happenings

• Thursday, June 30th - Corporate FireFit Day.  Corporate teams from across the regiona will battle it out to see who will be crowned Corporate FireFit Champion for 2005!

• Friday, July 1st - Cruisin' on King - A hot day of competition turns into a hot night on King Street as hundreds of classic cars come rumbling down the strip after the competition.  This annual event draws well over 20,000 people and will highlight some of the best cars from yesteryear all in one location.  Cars will be staging in Victoria Park and then cruise in to the downtown core.  King Street will be shut down and the cars will be on display until approximately 10 pm.  This family event is a must see!
• The 'Still' Bar & Grill & 'Wax' Nightclub -  After the FireFit Championships cool down, the 'Still' heats up.  Competitors, friends and families have reserved seating on the patio and will receive coupons for special priced meals.  Awards ceremony will be happening here after the FireFit Event, followed by live music beginning at 8 pm.  Retro 80's & 90's will be spinning all night long at 'Wax'.

Schedule of Events:  

Thursday, June 30th

17h00 - FireFit & FireFit Relay Registration on site until 19h00.  Individuals and at least one member from each team must be present to validate the members who will be competing the following day.  This is to ensure that the Start Order is correct on Event Day.

17h00 to 19h00 - Course Inspection, course will be closed on day of Event.  Please ensure you bring your own hammer if you wish to use the Forcible Entry Machine.  Helmets, Gloves, Trunout pants and Steel toed boots must be worn at all times while on the tower.

Directions: Traveling from the 402, take Highway 8 towards Kitchener.  Follow 8 towards downtown Kitchener (becomes King St. E.).  Remain on King St. E. into downtown Kitchener.  Hotel is located at the intersection of Frederick and King St. E..

Directions to Site from Hotel:  Located directly across the street from Four Points Sheraton.

Directions to Walper Terrace Hotel:  Traveling from the 401, take Highway 8 towards Kitchener.  Follow 8 towards downtown Kitchener (becomes King St. E.).  Remain on King St. E. into downtown Kitchener.  Hotel is located at the intersection of King St. E. and Queen St..

Directions to Event Site from Hotel:  Located approximately 2 blocks from Walper Terrace Hotel.  Follow King St. E. and look for the FireFit Tower!
