FireFit Individual
& Team Competition
All teams and individuals are
welcome to compete. All events are open. Teams and individuals eligible to
compete for the Regional Byes in this Regional are those Departments from
Northshore: from Ontario boarder to La Malbaie.
Competitors from other Countries are welcome to
compete for a International Bye to the FireFit Championship Finals
to be held in Quinte West, On, September 11th to 14th, 2008.
The First Place Individual in each Category receives a Bye to Final Day of the FireFit Finals in Quinte West, Ontario. Team times of 9 minutes or less qualifies a team to compete on one of the 'Wild Card Days' during The Finals in Quinte West. The top 14 Teams from the two 'Wild Card Days' will move on to Final Day in Quinte West.
FireFit Relay
The Top 62 Ranked Relay Teams from ALL Regionals held in 2008 will earn a spot on Final Relay Day (Sunday) at the FireFit Finals being held in Quinte West, Ontario.
FireFit NxG2 Relay
The Fastest NxG2 Relay Team from each Regional Event, qualifies for a 'NxG2 Bye' on the Relay Finals Day (Sunday) at the FireFit Finals in Quinte West, On. NxG2 Relay Teams with a time of 2:30 or less qualify to compete in the NxG2 'Wild Cards' held on Wild Card Days (Thursday & Friday). The top 10 NxG2 Teams from the 2 Wild Card Days will move on to the NxG2 Finals (Sunday) in Quinte West, Ontario.

ExpoCite is proud to present Expo
Quebec, held annually the last two weeks of August. This unparalleled
event has been marking the end of the summer for 97 years. The 2008
edition will take place August 13 to 24, offering a perfect blend of tradition
and innovation in a fabulously festive atmosphere. A family
entertainment venue at its best, Expo Quebec is the most important
agricultural and agri-food fair in eastern Canada and a major event in the
capital with 400,000 visitors and annual spinoffs of $30 million.

Expo Quebec started out as an immense
agricultural fair for the provincial animal judging finals, and over the years
it has added numerous activities for the entire family. Some of the most
notable include:
- Carrefour agroalimentaire, where
visitors discover culinary delights from the region and elsewhere
- A large-scale commercial exhibition
presenting the hottest products (furniture, telecommunications,
entertainment, etc.)
- Place de la famille, where younger
visitors are welcomed and filled with wonder.
- Sands of time, our special event for the 400th Aniversary of Quebec City where some of the best sand sculptors from Canada, United States and Europe will evoke important moment of our history.
- The International Pavilion where France, as a guest of honour, resents its territories: discover its tourist, cultural and culinary delights.
- Thematic Pavilions that encourage
public participation
Expo Quebec is also a chance to be swept
up by the excitement of some fifty amusement park rides. It's the

Directions & Registering for
the Event
Just
a few minutes from downtown Quebec City, Expo Quebec is located on the ExpoCite
site. To get there, just take the "rue Soumande' exit from the
Laurentian Highway (73) and follow the signs. You can also reach the Expo
Quebec site from the east or the west, by way of the boulevard Wilfrid-Hamel and
avenue de Colisee entrances.
