Passage Privateers

Ahoy Mates! Are you looking for a swashbuckling adventure? Are you ready to prowl the North Atlantic in search of treasure and rid our fair shores of enemy ships?

Then welcome aboard Atlantic Canada's only privateer schooner, "Liana's Ransom", a gaff rigged, top sail schooner located at Privateers Wharf, in Historic Properties, Halifax, Nova Scotia. Sail back in time aboard a replica of the privateer schooners that sailed from Halifax for fame and fortune. The crew is decked out in period costumes from the early 1800's, complete with cutlass' and flintlock pistols, as well as working replica black powder cannons to ward off enemy scalawags and landlubbers.

If you are looking for a memorable Maritime experience, then this is a must. Firefighters and family members will receive 50% off the regular posted rates for the 1.5 hour tour of Halifax Harbour (six times daily) chock full of historical facts, tall tales and sailing activities such as hoisting sails, steering the ship, and firing the cannons.
